The Leadership Layer

From a series of short demonstrations of AI applied to the leadership work that actually sits on your desk.

If there's one thing I'd recommend every head of school do with AI right now, it's build a Leadership Layer. A Leadership Layer is a private, persistent collection of your own files — your plan, your priorities, your thinking, your voice — that AI reads at the start of every session. The demonstration uses a fictional K–8 school with a full strategic plan. You see AI read from the folder and handle a real leadership task. Then you see it write back into the folder.

The shift is from AI as a chat window you re-introduce yourself to every Monday, to AI as a layer you build once and lead from.
